confused   How to remove the black border around the planIcon?
I would like to remove the border from around the Icons in the room plan.

I notice in the floor plan view, there is a black border around the furniture placed in the home. Is there a way to remove the border? I also notice, the image in the plan, for windows and doors, is different from the plan planIcon.

Re: How to remove the black border around the planIcon?
First, note that this border is drawn to help a user know the zone where he can click to select a piece of furniture. It's not drawn in printed and exported images (SVG and clipboard image).
You can change its color only by program at this time. Either change getFurnitureOutlineColor method in PlanComponent class, or override this method in a subclass of PlanComponent that you will instantiate in a customized ViewFactory. If you want to remove it completely, return a fully transparent color.

You're awesome, thanks.

Also, I notice the the door or windows planIcon is different than the furniture icon...meaning a door or window when added to a room, shows a 2D floor plan view image, while the furniture show the 3D image Icon.

How can I get a top view (2D) of the furniture instead of the 3D plan Icon of the furniture? I know i can change the plan Icon to a 2D image, but how do you do it with door/window. The furniture tree show a 3d, but the room plan shows a topview 2D icon?
how do you d oit with the window or door - in he furniture tree i see a
