how does a funiture texture gets appled to a piece of furniture?Once a texture is selected from the modify furniture dialog, and the user clicks ok, what happens? Where should I look to see how the selected texture is applied? |

Re: how does a funiture texture gets appled to a piece of furniture? The texture should just be applied. It shows up in the lower right window pane (the 3D view). Have you tried it? |

Re: how does a funiture texture gets appled to a piece of furniture? jjohnsson, texture corrdinates are computed with TexCoordGeneration Java 3D class. Look at setMaterialAndTexture method in HomePieceOfFurniture3D class. If you want to see how texture coordinates are computed with TexCoordGeneration class in OBJECT_LINEAR mode, see generateTextureCoordinates in OBJWriter class. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
