New User - Help using 3D images from the web Fantastic software - especially for an "old fart" like me who is learning it to help us lay out our furniture in a new apartment. Emmanuel has been tolerating my learning issues. Here is a new question. Furniture files on Google Sketchup 7 are mainly in .skp format. I can not figure out how to bring them into Sweet Home so I can use them in my plan. How would I change .skp to .obj or .lws or .3ds WITHOUT spending lots of money for something I will only use this one time? Thanks everyone for tolerating a very weak beginner...... ![]() |

Re: New User - Help using 3D images from the web Bob, In Sketchup choose File --> Export --> 3D model . That exports your model as a DAE file, which you can import in SH3D using Furniture --> Import furniture .
