furnitures do not look nice in 2d view
Hello,

When I add furnitures to my project they look like a square an in the middle a picture of the object inserted. I mean if e.g I insert a table, what I see in the 2d view is a rectangule and in the middle o f the rectangule a small icon of a table, but this does not look a table as it should be.

Is it a problem of my graphical card?
I am using a toshiba laptop from 2003 and a desktop computer from 2002 using Matrox Millenium G450 and I get the same results in both.

Please, could you tell me how to solve this problem, I do not car much about the 3d view, but with this problem the 2d view does not look real.

Thank you.

Re: furnitures do not look nice in 2d view
Sankari,

The manual isn't very helpful in this case, but with a bit of curiosty you will discover in Preferences the option Furniture icons in plan --> Top view .

If you don't want the 3D view, maybe you are interested in the 2D view. Try the option Plan --> Export to SVG format to have a 2D picture.

Re: furnitures do not look nice in 2d view
Thank you Hans,
It is true what you say but now when I choose the choice
"Furniture icons in plan --> Top view" the result is even worse because now I get a rectangule almost empty and of course there is not anyway to guess what kind of furniture is. Do you think is a graphical card problem?

What do you think about it?
Thank you.
