add a member to HomePieceOfFurniture hello everyone, I try to edit the stucture of the "HomePieceOfFurniture" model by adding member. I alredy added the member, the getter and the setter, i modified the different views by adding an input field for this member (import and edit by double clicking on the object on the plan 2D). I don't know where (or when) the listener witch use the setters of "HomePieceOfFurniture" is called. this is a list of file modified : HomePieceOfFurniture.java homeFurnitureController.java When i importing a furniture or when modify one, i fill my text input associated to the member, then there the value of the memberis still Null. Re: add a member to HomePieceOfFurniture Sorry, but no one will be able to find a bug in your code, if he doesn't see the part you changed! I suggest you to use a debugger to be sure that you set the fields and the variables values as expected. Re: add a member to HomePieceOfFurniture Hello, Thank you for your answer. I'd like to put a breakcpoint, but i don't know where I have to put it. I don't know which file is concern by the event click (or double click) on an object in the 2D plan. I knows that's a small problem but there is a lot of file, and I'm quite lost. |

Re: add a member to HomePieceOfFurniture Let me introcuce myself, I'm a student in IT and project management I'm able to develop in several languages, I have got basic java developpement skills (java - swing) with eclipse. I'm working on a project at school which includes the sweethome3D Applet. I'm in charge of de 3D section of this project. The main part of my work consist in changing the behavior of SH3D when you import a funriture into the catalog or edit a furniture dragged in the 2D plan. |

Re: add a member to HomePieceOfFurniture Hi, send me your skype or email, please. I will try to help you out. I've actually derived and changed a lot of classes. My project doesn't have anything to do with furniture, but basically the selectable objects act the same way. So, maybe I could help you. |
