Why Can't I render House
I made a Three storied house by making each floor one by one and exporing them to .obj format then again improtinh them as furnitures.....but i cannot use advanced rendeering to add unlight or turn on lights that i place before exporing to .obj format i.e the kights are there in the imported houses but advanced rendeering cannot be use...When i click create button then it stops immedistely showing black all over and a small red-cross( multiple) sign ....any tips i dont want to import all the furitures again coz its really trouble some to arrange the pieces as we have to create perfect rectangles before exporting so as to remove automatically created floors......any answers guys.....coz i tried many things now i am really fade up so quit making that house

Wrosun,

1 - The easiest way to create multiple levels is using the plug-in CopyAsNewFurniture. Download the tutorial to read all about it.
3 - The easiest way, then, to make a multi-level house is drawing the floors next to each other, then select each floor and use the new function Tools --> CopyAsNewFurniture to copy and paste the pieces of furniture into a new instance of SH3D where you assemble your house.
2 - The OBJ language (or the way SH3D uses it) has a few drawbacks: one of them is that some functions do not survive the export-import process. Light is one of them. So, you have to add your lights after importing your levels.
3 - The red cross when making a render generally indicates some kind of memory problem. Your model may be too big, you may have used "corrupted" models, too many or too big textures, etc, etc. Share your model here and we can review it.

well i know about CopyAsNewFurniture tool...but i made that before I downloaded the plugin...thanks for your help but i sorted it out my self now its working..ya you might be right my model is large....but i have quiet more then enough memory for rengering i have 4 gigabites of memory so it might not be a memory problem but i concluded that not the lights that can be turned on but those like florescent tube hanging light they come with imported model and these can be the problem that it cannot be rendered .....its just a theory i tried by removing those lights and importet again and rendered they worked out......
