Unwanted behaviour after Grouping Emmanuel, When I group objects that have been imported after CopyAsNewFurniture and Export to OBJ format, these groups always revert to Part of base plan. When I uncheck the box, the program rechecks the box. Could that be changed? Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Unwanted behaviour after Grouping Thank you to report this wrong behavior. In fact, the Part of base plan option doesn't work correctly for any group of objects (imported or not), because I forgot to take into account groups when I added this option in the version 3.0. This bug is fixed in the latest beta of the version 3.1. By the way, this version manages also correctly auto selection in the text fields of color choosers and is able to highlight the current search in the help pages. A nice feature I hope you'll like! ![]() ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Unwanted behaviour after Grouping Emmanuel, The Group <--> Part of base plan is solved: it now works as expected. I never use the Help section, so I can't comment on that. The colour thing seems Windows <?>, because I've never seen colour names. Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Unwanted behaviour after Grouping Emmanuel, Unfortunately there seems to be a little bug in the new beta 11. When I try to render the attached file, it gives the rotating cursor, then the red/green squares, then nothing. When I load the same design in v3.0 there's no problem, and after waiting a bit there's an image. Compressed the file is just 1.8 Mb, uncompressed closer to 5 Mb. Maybe it's a regression bug? Re: Unwanted behaviour after Grouping Hans, I had no problem to render your file (very nice by the way) with version 3.0 and version 3.1 Beta. It's maybe a memory problem since the max memory in the beta version is set to 512 MB. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Unwanted behaviour after Grouping Emmanuel, I tried the XMX trick with 1024 and 2048 Mb settings, but that didn't work. So, I don't know how you do it, but I can't render the design with beta 11.
