Can't see anything on my floor plan! Hello, I have no idea what happened? I spent 4 hours designing this clinic for a management project and had just a few things left to do with it and it disappeared. Please help! I can email anyone the file if they have an idea? I can't figure out anything. If I open another file it works fine. |

Re: Can't see anything on my floor plan! Daryl, If you send me the file, I'll look at it. However, I can't promise I can rescue your plan. Did you enable the Autorecover function? (see: File --> Preferences) In that case, when starting SH3D again, it should load the file you were working on. Otherwise, check the appropriate directory to see if there is a work file: - under Windows Vista / 7 --> C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\work - under Windows XP and previous versions of Windows --> C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\work - under Mac OS X --> Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D/work - under Linux --> .eteks/sweethome3d/work Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Can't see anything on my floor plan! From my past experience, a 2D plan that completely disappears or appears as blank (rulers included) is due to internal computing error, and the file where this kind of error happened can be recovered only by changing temporarily the program. Recently, I discovered this may happen when you import a DAE 3D model with no thickness. I'll fix that in the next version. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
