my file become very big & very slow. probably the wrong model recently I design garden and I collect many model from Google warehouse when I add model "bush", my file become bigger (about 64Mb). and every time I move my view angle, it become very slow, and sometimes occur Hang is this some kind of bug, or what? if the bush is the problem, is there any other kind or the model as that bush? I need that kind of bush http://www.4shared.com/file/_9P82hsY/2_online.html the bush name on files is "untitled" thanks a lot |

Re: my file become very big & very slow. probably the wrong model Yudi, The size of the file "untitled" is 38.8 Mb. It is a known "problem" that plants with many leaves slow down the 3D preview. You may try to search for a smaller and simpler model. Maybe this one? Or else try searching using this or this search phrase. Re: my file become very big & very slow. probably the wrong model Hi, one reason might be: SH3D(Java) seems to not cleaning up undo-buffers (even when saving a file). so, every time you move a big object sh3d has to move some amount of memory around. on Mac OSX(10.5) this will force you to quit sh3d from time to time. macfrog |

Re: my file become very big & very slow. probably the wrong model macfrog, I don't think this has to do with undo buffer.
