Re: Add picture on 2D panel only I've made a library with some usual signs needed in emergency plans. I start from Emmanuel sample and I intend to grow the items. Hope this help: 2D Symbols ---------------------------------------- A computer program does what you tell it to do, not what you want it to do. Re: Add picture on 2D panel only Hello to Skliarie Thanks a lot I realy use your Symbol electrical libery with pleasure. But how did you make them. with what program. I would love to make some myself. I am an electrician in France You must know I am new on Sweet Home and not a good technician , but very willing to try. I think your libery should be known more by other people Thanks |

Re: Add picture on 2D panel only I agree that having standard electrical symbols wold be very useful. As I am not an electrician, I need to look for these symbols when I need them (and remain confused...), for instance at Commons Wikimedia Electrical symbols. To create the symbols themselves, you will need a graphics editor (Paint or similar will do, but a more advanced editor like the Gimp or Inkscape will let you do more). You probably will want to save the symbols in .PNG format. Then, you will need the Furniture Library Editor and edit the properties manually as described above and include the symbol file you created. Admittedly, this is not a very easy process, but it would be useful if someone expanded the library. Some symbols are also posted in SF 3D models 325. ok ![]() |
