Walls and Rooms
Good day to all,

I wonder if the ability to create rooms (applying textures and ceilings to parts of the plan) by double clicking an enclosed portion of the plan with walls can be achieved the other way around. Instead of starting drawing walls on your plan before creating the rooms, for irregular shaped houses or plan i would like to first create the rooms or the floor plan before the walls. After drawing the desired dimensions and curves of the plan, then just a double-click there would be walls around the floor plan i created. This would be very convenient if a plan has different kinds of curvatures or edges.

It's just an idea. Thanks!

Re: Walls and Rooms
Rex,

This function exists in SH3D.
1 - Draw your room.
2 - When ready click the Walls button.
3 - While holding the CTRL key, double-click on the room.
4 - Walls appear around your room. Height and thickness are as set in Preferences.

Re: Walls and Rooms
You should have tried! It already works like that if needed.
See including help about wall creation.
