Is there way to enter building dimensions from a GPS device In particular is there any way to use something like an Android phone which has GPS and or innertial measurements to mark out the dimensions of a house directly into SweetHome 3D. Or does anyone know of an android app which will map a building and save a drawing in a form that can be loaded into SweetHome 3D? |

Re: Is there way to enter building dimensions from a GPS device David, There is no ready-made solution, as far as I know. You may want to experiment a bit with the folowing programs: - Google Earth - Google Maps - Google Sketchup and Buildingmaker From Sketchup you can export models in DAE/Collada format, which can be imported in SH3D. There also seems to be a way to convert your OBJ models back to a format that can be read by Sketchup. Search this forum or use Google.
