From 2.6 to 3.4 version On my Windows Xp I have installed a long time version 2.6 of Sweet Home, and it works perfectly. If I upgrade to the latest 3.4 version, let me know if I have problems opening my (very important!) SH3D old files. If you think I can safely upgrade version, I would like to know what the correct way to do it (uninstall the previous or install directly the new over?).Excuse my bad English,thanks! |

Re: From 2.6 to 3.4 version Lola, New versions are compatible with old versions. So you can install v3.4 and open your old files. Please note that files saved with a newer version cannot be used reliably with older versions. On my PC (which uses Ubuntu as operating system) I have all versions installed next to each other (well, at least from v2.1), so I can always go back to an older versions. Re: From 2.6 to 3.4 version Lola, If you keep both versions, first start SH3D, then open the file you want to work on.
