Sloped Walls question Hi, I see the newer versions contain the ability for sloped walls. I have a House which is on a sloped block of land. roughly 27 degree slope How can I start a wall at point A have it go 10m and have it end at point B on a 27 degree slope? I have been unable to find a guide so far. any assistance appreciated. |

Re: Sloped Walls question Re: Sloped Walls question Maybe you could try the Math Forum ? Hans Thanks for that, very productive. now onto my question, where is the option in the GUI for these settings for a wall? Friends, i believe he's looking for a solution to create a downwards sloping wall, with a leveled upper end and the floor on top.... macfrog Yes, thank you your version makes more sense. |

Re: Sloped Walls question If you use the above formula to calculate the slope, you can then use (in this order) - CopyAsNewFurniture (to eliminate the floor) (see plug-ins PDF), - Export to OBJ format (to export the wall segment as a model) and - Import furniture. Make sure that during importation you rotate the wall segment 180 degrees, so that the sloping side ends up at the bottom. Re: Sloped Walls question For one horizontal or vertical wall, no need to install CopyAsNewFurniture plugin. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
