Very Slow Download Sweet Home 3D with Java Web Start...?
I've been running
/usr/bin/javaws -verbose /home/ljohnson/Desktop/SweetHome3D.jnlp
for over five hours.

Since I excellent internet service this seems excessively long.

This is where it has been now for a long time...

Something wrong...? Better way...? Thanks...

Quite strange...
Please try the installer version. As it will come from a mirror server close to you, it might be faster.

A little closer. I extracted it to ~/.sweet...

After making some executable, this:
