3D ShadowsHello, Where can i read about the best way to set the sun orientation. I have set the compas and coordinates of the house i am drawing but it stil seems to produce to little light. I guess i am forgetting something to have the most realistic sun/shadow effects. Thanks! Johan |

Re: 3D Shadows Johan, Illumination and photo rendering have been improved very much since version 2.6. Nevertheless, it's not perfect yet. The amount of light that enters a room through windows is very limited. Also, light doesn't reflect very well from one surface to the next. Just add a few interior light bulbs, if it's too dark in your room. Place them at an elevation of (say) 150 cms, make them at least 100x100x100 cms in size, and give them a strength of approx 25-30%. You will see this makes a big difference to your pictures. Hans ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |
