Sweethome3d V4 I downloaded V4 and can't get it to run after installation. I didn't have that problem with V3.7. I have reinstalled V3.7 to conform that it runs on my computer and it still does. I swapped over the Sweethome3d Jar file from the 3.7 lib folder to the V4 lib folder. It ran from the v4 folder, and the splash screen came up with v..3.7. It seems to me that something is wrong in the v4 Sweethome 3d jar file?  |

Re: Sweethome3d V4 Sorry for this issue. An other user who upgraded too reported he also had a problem at program launch. He said there was even no splash screen. Is it your case too? Re: Sweethome3d V4 The other user I mentioned in my previous message and I found why he couldn't run Sweet Home 3D: the name of one of the furniture library he imported contained a very long string of digits that Sweet Home 3D misinterpreted as a too big version number! So, if you have such a file in your texture or furniture libraries folder (see Libraries of additional 3D models section), you must have encountered the same bug. Just rename the file with much less digits and this should work. I fixed the issue in the source code, but I'm not that much motivated to release a new version very soon for a bug that probably very very few users will encounter. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Sweethome3d V4 I have located and renamed the file that was causing the problem. V4 runs as it should. |

Re: Sweethome3d V4 svetl@n@, it's the same error as MarkSA's one. In the folder where SH3F files are stored (see Libraries of additional 3D models section), search a file name containing the string with the digits "1119877249945718443", and rename it to ensure there's no more than 9 digits in a same substring. You can remove characters or if you want to keep these digits, introduce hyphens, spaces, letters like in "111987724-994571844-3". ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
