Save failed online - desktop version has way less features? I did a lot of work online, got tired, decided to save my work so I could go to bed. The save features failed every time I tried. I was almost horrified until I found I can export it sh3d file. I figured that was for the desktop version. So, I installed the desktop version before I closed the online version, and sure enough, I was able to import it! phew... but wait... the desktop version has WAY less objects to add. Is that right? Or is there somewhere that I can import/install the same ones that are online? Thanks in advance! |

Re: Save failed online - desktop version has way less features? Both versions have the same features, but the desktop version comes with less furniture to ensure the installer isn't too big. You'll find the missing furniture groups at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sweethome3d/files/SweetHome3D-models/ or at 3D models page. By the way, as announced in the Sweet Home 3D Online Rules, a user document in the online shouldn't be larger than 3 MB, and you probably reached that limit. I know it would be nice to show a % counter of usage in the online version and hope to had this feature in a future version. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
