Roof with transparent material
Dear, thanks for this spectacular software.
Just a question:
I need to made a roof (over patio)with wood structure and transparent (glass) roofing.
How can I do it ?

Look here.
Files with "transp" in the filename are boxes with transparency in different colours.

Dear Hans thx thx thx , the transparent box was perfect.
But I've a little thing again..(sorry...): I need to put the wood structure (made from cube) and the trasp roofing, tilt down from wall to the garden.
Can you help me ?

Take a look at this tutorial:

In rough, you have to compose (or re-import) the object vertically, give the inclination as a rotation over Z axis (which is the only allowed in the plan editing), then export the rotated object and re-import it again rotating it so it's horizontal again.

Hans....I will be crazy :-(
I'm not able to tilt the obj....ever and ever flat.
I've read the tutorial but I'dont found the right tip.
What can I do ?

I hope the text Hold the Shift key down while clicking on an arrow to rotate the model at smaller steps that is shown at the second step of the import wizard would have been helpful enough. sad

Rotation in the 3D space around 3 axes is never easy in all 3D software! wink
