New wall match existing sloping wall
This might not be easy to explain, but I have created an industrial style building design, approx 42m x 22m with eaves height of 5.2m rising to 6.5m at ridge along the 22mm walls.

So far so good. smile

Now I need to create a 15m long extension, by extending one of the, 5.2m high, 42m side walls. However this extension is only 8m wide. It needs to be ridged, continuing the existing roof line.

I am finding it difficult to match the height where the extension ridge (4m from side wall) should be.

Is there any easy way to do this rather than keep editing the end dimensions of the split 8m wall? confused

Thanks

Re: New wall match existing sloping wall
Sorry, took some time to produce something.

Sketchup drawing:

The main building already exists, just need to add the smaller extension.

What is causing a problem is accurately determining height of extension ridge to match with existing roof.

Hope that makes sense!

Thanks

Roger,

Sorry, if I seem a bit slow... but WHERE should the extension come? Can you at least draw the walls?
