Can't create room / floor Hi all :) I'm a new user of SH3D, and I want to use it to help in furnishing my large terrasse So far I created all the walls and windows, and now I would like to add a floor to my terrasse. The problem is I can't create a room from my terrasse, it is all surrounded by walls but they are not all the same height and I guess that's why I can't create a room from it. Any idea on either how to create a room from my terrasse or how to add floor without creating a room ? Thanks for your help |

Re: Can't create room / floor Create the room of the terrace point by point instead of double clicking. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Can't create room / floor Hi, Thanks Puybaret for the suggestion In fact I found out there were two walls that were not properly "connected" (even if they seemed to touch each other). That was a noob error... Fixing that allowed me to create my room with a double click. |

Re: Can't create room / floor Sorry didn't get it. I already created some rooms but I found no way to add a floor (e.g. wooden floor). |

Re: Can't create room / floor Double-click on the room where you want a wooden floor, and in the room modification dialog box, select the texture you want for the floor. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Can't create room / floor Thank you for your answer! "Create Room" menu button was the missing link in my case ... I just created the walls but not a "room" (so a double click didn't do the trick of course) ![]() |
