Tutorial sloping roofs and ceilings Re: http://www.sweethome3d.com/slopingCeilingGuide.pdf In 2 - Sloping ceiling Isn't it possible to select both long walls to do the operation at once? If not a mirror options in the menu would be nice, esp. if one has to do it on more that 2 walls. 6 - Click the Create rooms button and draw a room from coordinates 5,5 to 600,495. Can you explain it any another way please, I keep drawing it as a floor not a ceiling. Thanks |

Re: Tutorial sloping roofs and ceilings If you want to create a sloping roof, you have to draw it in two parts. 1 - the horizontal part, 2 - the sloping part. Strictly speaking, in this example you are drawing a ceiling, not a roof. Floors and ceilings are drawn at the same time. Ceilings can only be seen - from below - using the virtual visitor - from above - using the virtual visitor and making a photo. Re: Tutorial sloping roofs and ceilings Well, I don't. I put a floor in green which I do see. I tried to put a ceiling in red, but don't see it. |
