room dimensions next to sides? Is it possible (plugin?) to have the room dimensions (not just the surface, but the size of each side of the room) automatically visible on the plan? I can add texts manually, but since the model knows what size each side is, it should technically be possible to display those dimension next to the sides. Is it a feature available, either as part of the program or as part of a plugin? I want to basically print the floorplan to distribute to workers etc. |

No, this feature doesn't exist (yet) because as soon as there's more one room, I feel the human eye and taste is much more clever than the computer to get a nice final drawing. But in case you missed it, you can add the dimension along a room side very easily by double clicking on that side, then click a third time after moving the dimension where you want it to appear. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
