New BENDER DEV got inspiration from Sweet Home 3D ? I found that link and it seems that some BLENDER current dev are trying to mimic SweetHome ease of use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW0Ac2cK1Ss ![]() I am impressed by the rendering result |

Re: New BENDER DEV got inspiration from Sweet Home 3D ? It's not Blender, but a company called Microvellum that is developing this program. It seems to be in some sort of beta stage and will be SOLD later on. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: New BENDER DEV got inspiration from Sweet Home 3D ? I had a look to the video, but even if the results are nice, I don't think it mimics Sweet Home 3D ease of use. The main idea in Sweet Home 3D is to edit the plan in the 2D plan, because it's more conformable for many people to draw in 2D than in 3D. The second point is about drag and drop that strangely is never direct in the solution shown in the video (the user must always select an other parameter before the dragged item is actually added to the drawing). ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
