Is it possible to view 2D plan elevations or save the 2D plan as a DWG file?Hi everyone in Sweet Home 3D land! First post... i have to say i love this software, it's easy and quick to use and looks great! I desperately need to know if it's possible to view the 2D plan in elevations? also, is it possible to save the 2D plan as a DWG file http://www.sweethome3d.com/support/mvnplugin/...ages/emotion/confused.gif Thanks |

Re: Is it possible to view 2D plan elevations or save the 2D plan as a DWG file? Method 1. Goto File->Print to pdf. Save it.Now you can use this pdf file (or open the 2nd page of the pdf file in Adobe Photoshop and save it into .jpg) Method 2. Plan->Export to SVG format. Save it. Then Open the file with any other svg format supporting (Vector graphics)application like Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator. Then export it into bitmap(.bmp) or JPEG(.jpg) format. Re: Is it possible to view 2D plan elevations or save the 2D plan as a DWG file? Sorry,  Currently its not possible. 2D Window can produce only Top view(/Plan).  .If you draw the plan completely. Then you can see the front and other sides in 3D window. Check the official video tutorial .  ---------------------------------------- |

Re: Is it possible to view 2D plan elevations or save the 2D plan as a DWG file? I use SH3D to make preliminary plans, but my architect can't use the sh3d fileformat. He requires my scetches as dwg-files. PDF flattens everything and is not sufficient. If there is no possibility to export floorplans as dwg directly from SH3D, is there an external file converter that does the job? |

Re: Is it possible to view 2D plan elevations or save the 2D plan as a DWG file? With the menu 3D view > Export to OBJ format, you can export your home and keep the 3D part.
