calculate angle
Hi,
I've found and modify next "excel" file.
Just enter the value of the sides "A" and "B" and the lenght of "C" will be automaticly calculated as-well the "angle".

Rgds

Re: calculate angle
Would be interesting to see the Excel file. Even if SH3D does a lot of calculations, a spreadsheet can be very useful for such things as calculating equal space between windows, wall surfaces, etc etc. ok

Re: calculate angle
And here is the file mentioned in the first post of this thread.
It was sent to me by Joseph van Dijck, who made it.

Re: calculate angle
Thx Hans,

As I wrote (emailed)you, it's a start and perhaps for the developers of SW3d a challenge to integrate this possibility into SW3d.

Re: calculate angle
Checked the spreadsheet. It is indeed useful to keep a spreadsheet if you do serious home planning. I have one for length calculations (most specifically to space out windows evenly on a wall) - but also to calculate other measures on the fly and to calculate material usage (say for a shed wooden panel) etc. But mine is rough and personal. Maybe someone has additional calculations that could be added to one spreadsheet?
