Invisible floor on upper level room.
I have a basement that is smaller the level above. The room above the basement has no floor. I see there was a defect that was fixed in 4.3

"Fixed a bug that prevented to display correctly some floor rooms in the 3D view when they overlap."

but I'm using version 4.4 with (Java 1.6.0_45 / 64 bit / 0.9 GB max) on Windows 7 x64.

I'm not sure if this is a defect or something I did wrong drawing my plans. I'm a fairly new user.

The upper level does have a floor thickness (4 3/4") and elevation of 0. The basement level has an elevation of -10' and a height of 9' 7 1/4" I'm not sure what else to check.

Re: Invisible floor on upper level room.
Jeremy,

You didn't create floors in your plan, so it's logical that you can't see them.
Click the Floor button (to the right of the Walls button), then double-click in each room.
Problem solved!

Hans

Tip: read the Plug-in manual, install the AdvancedEdit plug-in and use the Connect walls function to connect the walls in the top-left corner of your design.
