Building The Starship Enterprise from the inside out. I am attempting to build the USS Enterprise using Sweethome3d and Blender. I've been working on and off for several months now and have quite a bit done. Here are some of my pics. ![]() [Note from moderator: updated image links] |

Re: Building The Starship Enterprise from the inside out. Nice would love to see it when its finished. Love how you used the elements and just warped them to meet your needs. Very creative ---------------------------------------- I'm a self professed NOOB at almost anything in life into gaming, mobile web design and 3D animation or design software. |

Re: Building The Starship Enterprise from the inside out. I've made some adjustments to my wall textures. Although the transporter room in the 3rd season was mauve colored, mine simply looked too purple. So I toned it down a bit. I also placed radiation warning signs on the walls and I got more work done on the trnasporter console in Blender and imported it. Having a bit of trouble there though. When I import in .dae format, some of the faces are reversed leaving them transparent in Sweethome3d. I have to import it twice in the furniture editor, reversing the faces in the second one and then transposing the two objects to get one solid object. Any suggestions? ![]() |
