How can I make a split foyer? I am wondering if Sweet Home 3D can handle a split foyer design. My home is on two levels. The bottom level is about halfway below ground. The entry is at ground level. So, the entry is directly between the two levels with stairs going up and down. Can this be done in SW3D? Darren |

Re: How can I make a split foyer? Levels were designed to let you do that. Of course, it won't be as easy as if you had to design a classic house with two stories or levels on top of each other, but if you pay attention to the elevation of each level and the height of the walls you add to the levels, you can achieve the kind of design you look for. As explained in the included help, keep in mind that you can create underground levels by setting their elevation with a negative a value. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: How can I make a split foyer? Dkh3184 did you ever figure out how to make the split foyer? I’ve been looking for a tutorial for this specifically and haven’t found one. I only found info on split levels which are different than a split entryway. I’ll try to use these tutorials but I can’t figure out how to make the wall for the door. |
