Application doesn't show any window I have downloaded the application installer version 4.5 for Mac OSX. The dog seems to be correctly downloaded and I double click to open the disk. Then I double click the Sweet Home 3D icon and a splash window appear. Then no other window appears. Just the top menu is visible and the application icon on the dock. Menu is working since I can run the "About Sweet Home 3D" menu entry and it shows the window with the version. No other window or message is shown. It just doesn't show any application window (only menu and dock icon) I am using OSX 10.9.5 and have installed Oracle Java Standard Edition 7.71 Thanks for your support |

Re: Application doesn't show any window The DMG file uses Apple Java 6 not Oracle Java. Nevertheless it's a strange error and the program doesn't seem to have been launched correctly. But, as you already installed Oracle Java, please try with the Java Web Start version: download http://www.sweethome3d.com/SweetHome3D.jnlp file, double click on it (if the system refuses, click on the SweetHome3D.jnlp file while keeping the ctrl key pressed and choose Open with > Java Web Start). ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
