Printing and exporting to pdf to size B0 fails
Hi,

I designed a home with this marvelous piece of software and wanted to print the floor plans to scale 1/50.

As the largest A type of paper is A4 and the drawing would not fit, I first tried to make a custom paper size, but when I select "Custom" in the Page Format panel, there is no option to set the paper dimensions. So how do I set the custom paper size?

I then tried to use paper size B0 which in principle should be large enough. However, when I select that size, the margins in the Page Setup panel are wrong: in landscape mode the bottom margin is set at 32.38 inch and that cannot be changed. Obviously with that margin the drawing will not fit either.
Strangely enough the margins of all paper sizes are set in inches. I use meters in the preferences.

I am using version 4.6 with the java run time that comes with the package. Fedora 18. 64 bit.

Re: Printing and exporting to pdf to size B0 fails
I remember there was a bug in Java that prevented to use the margin set in Page Setup panel. To circumvent this issue, you can define the com.eteks.sweethome3d.swing.fixedPrintMargin property with a value equal to the desired margin in centimeter. To set this property with a value equal to 0.2 under Linux, edit the SweetHome3D script and add the following text after java:
‑Dcom.eteks.sweethome3d.swing.fixedPrintMargin=0.2

Thanks, that did the trick.

Now however I can only print to paper size B0 which is actually much too large.

Is there no way to define A3 or A2 with the "Custom" setting in the Page Format panel?
