How to design a wall with a few type of tails? How to design a wall with a few type of tails? Like this: http://www.bigfurnitureideas.com/wp-content/u...hroom-tile-designs-10.jpg For now I use 'Picture'(furniture) to decorative tiles. But it has some cons e.g. too many polygons. Is there simpler way to do it? |

Re: How to design a wall with a few type of tails? There is always the personalized textures guide, which might help. Even if it proposes using presentation software. Good graphics software (like the Gimp) will be more powerful. Still, point remains, it looks as if you could create a part of the wall as a texture in full height (i.e. texture height = wall height), to create an effect similar to your picture. Posted a couple of examples in SF 3D models 346 to show you what I mean. About how textures are aligned, some info in thread 5533. BTW, many tile vendors, have images of tiles and entire walls on their websites that can be of use in creating files. Also, there are phone apps that will analyse the colours of a tile (or paint) and give you an approximate RGB value for use with SH3D. Very useful if you want to get the correct visual impression. ok File with 'your texture' perspective transformed and tiled horizontally: tiles_lu.sh3d ![]() |
