Problems inserting new objects
Hi, i use mac and can't insert new objects.
I tried .obj and .3ds and answer me that can't read the model. Choose another one...

I have no problems inserting libraries. It works well.

Re: Problems inserting new objects
If you use the Mac App Store version, please read the FAQ How can I import 3D models in OBJ, DAE or 3DS format with the Mac App Store version of Sweet Home 3D?
Otherwise, please give more details about the version of Sweet Home 3D and Mac OS X you use.

Re: Problems inserting new objects
I use the Mac App Store version 5.1.1 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.
I think I do what FAQ says but always the same answer "can't read the model. Choose another one".
What I do is make a library and insert it, but can't do it with objects one by one.

Which model did you try (you can send it to me if you want)?

Re: Problems inserting new objects
I tried several files from this web site, and others too.
When I try to do it by "Choose model" files are grey...not eligible. Files are .obj and .3ds.
Maybe it must be .zip???

Re: Problems inserting new objects
It must be a zip file with the Mac App Store version. Please read again the FAQ I pointed to. If ever you think something isn't clear enough, please tell me how I can improve it. I'm French native!

Re: Problems inserting new objects
Now it works, my fault. It must be a .zip file, like you said.
