Polylines 2d to solid 3d Hello. Is it possible to convert a 3d polyline to 3d solid ? I'm trying to create some different solid for creating drywall on ceiling and walls. Is it possible, or there are other ways to build something like that ? Attachment pic-1 and pic-2. Thanks :) Rob. ![]() |

Re: Polylines 2d to solid 3d The feature you are looking for doesn't exist in SH3D. You can draw curved walls in SH3D to make the curved walls with holes in your picture. Use an invisible box (imported as door/window) and slide it into the wall using the arrow keys to make the cut-outs. You could experiment with curved walls as well to make the mouldings. - Draw a thin curved wall, just a few centimeters thick and high - Add additional walls that fit perfectly to build your moulding yourself. - When finished, select the end result, and export to OBJ format. - Import the model, rotate it and fit it at the correct elevation. Re: Polylines 2d to solid 3d Thank you for your input ! I just played around with this new toy few hours and solved the exporting .obj without floor from another your post: http://www.sweethome3d.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,1331_offset,10 Maybe a good start. I noticed a "strange" dark on the top of plasterboard (the one above the armchair) not uniformly illuminated. Are there any light plugins or something similar to create a good illumination ? Thank you ! ![]() |

Re: Polylines 2d to solid 3d You can adjust the size of the 'light bulb' and the intensity in the Modify furniture option of the bulb itself. ---------------------------------------- Hawk |

Re: Polylines 2d to solid 3d And when you Create a photo, disable Add Ceiling Lights in the Make Photo dialogue. Also, give the lights you add the correct elevation to avoid large white spots on the ceiling. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Polylines 2d to solid 3d Thank you both for advice ! The large white spot on the ceiling (2nd photo), is caused by the "Add ceiling lights". When disable option, it disappear, but the room appear very dark. Trying now to put large number of light bulb to create good result. |
