Windows 10: importing libraries
Today I tried to import the updated furniture libraries.

After downloading I copied all files to C:\Users\Hans\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\furniture.

I restarted the program, then even restarted the computer, but to no avail: my libraries don't show up in SH3D.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Windows 10: importing libraries
I guess you have tried all this - but just in case:

It may be that Win uses another directory, for instance this: C:\Users\Hans\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\furniture

Did you try Help-About-Libraries? Clicking an existing library (if any) should tell you which directory to use.

Assuming you have taken the libraries out of the .zip container so you have .sh3f files, did you try double-clicking them (provided file associations work) OR Furniture-Import Furniture Library?

As for what you are doing wrong, one possible conclusion could be "using Win 10" smile

ok

Re: Windows 10: importing libraries
C:\Users\Hans\Application Data\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\furniture

- or some in some of the other subdirectories under

C:\Users\Hans\AppData\

Some of these directories are identical, pointing to each other - just have not bothered to figure out the logic of it all.

ok

Re: Windows 10: importing libraries
Hola Ola,

Problem solved.
1 - The files were in the correct library.
2 - Seems the files were double-zipped. I unzipped the files after putting them in the correct library. Turns out I had to unzip them again. Now they show the *.sh3f extension and are recognized by SH3D.
3 - Thanks for the tip that clicking the library shows the directory.
4 - I hate W10 !!

Good problem is solved, until the next appears... Meanwhile, how about a dual boot? Always worked very nicely for me in the past.
