classic edition
Dear friends. I read here on sites that some of you are not in love with modern architecture and design. So... Here I try to create something for you. I was interested in how to create something very traditional here on sh3D and the result is that I made eclectic dining room with white hairy carpets lots of limestone and fire place of course. It was fun for me because I like every styles but I never made this one. And I have to say that not everything here is only imagination. Lots of models are standard sh3D furniture or my homemade furniture but some objects are real. For example-white sofas are Italian Natuzzi or armchairs are designed by Kare. Here it is...and I hope you enjoy it....

Hmmmm... It's a question cool
My idea was to make classic edition but I was afraid it's complicated to make all historic building. What you inspired me with was your fortified castle it should be real to make it. We will see.... I'm afraid. Because I wanna make garden around. And it will be lot's of MB's and hard work for my comp sad confused .... But is about fun wink And I continue with my cousin's house too.

So I'm happy to see your fortified castle here because it was great idea and I saw great renderings you made here man. love struck love struck

It seems a little to Bratislava castle.

It is only retro scyfy. It doesn't exist in real. Lot's of historians would laugh on it. You can find baroque rococo gothic renaissance classicism antique and something unidentified there on this mine hybrid here... Bratislava castle is after reconstruction and looks more monumental

And is much much bigger than this mine little villa laughing ... But Sissi had it very close from Vienna.... laughing

first picture is central southern facade with dolphin fountain /dolphin fountain is archive 3D model/
next picture is view on eastern facade out of walls

third is my favorite ...smooth northern facade in summer evening light

and fourth is view on small western pavilon with Pegasus sculptures....roof is made by standard sh3D roof combined with antique sculptures and voila history is here....attic is standard sh3D railing with changed marble texture

Re: classic edition
Dear friends....here I come with another new project in CLASSIC EDITION......I named it 'BOTANIKA'-CHURCH OF NATURE.... I saw a lot of projects here but only few of them tried to use trees or different plants or more detailed gardening [which I love in my personal life]. So when I was working on the garden of KASTIEL project, there I had an idea tried to change it. In BOTANIKA-CHURCH OF NATURE I come with a little bit educative project where plants are in a main role. And that is a problem. There are only few detailed 'free 3D plants' on internet which you can use. If you want to use HD plants you have to pay of course. But I am not a professional 3D computer programmer so I didn't want to. In so far that I decide to use some available free 3D models and try to create a garden project of them. I know there are a lot's of better pictures or better projects here but I was interested in what I am able to create by my skills. [I started with 3D application in February this year....I used my comp mainly for mails or Facebook before that talk to the hand.....]

I have to tell that except my love in gardening and KASTIEL garden this were my inspirations here on sites.....

1....bdfd's 'nature houses' projects
2....Ceciliabr's top pictures [which geniality I will never achieve]
3....and Miker777 and VeroniQ support I sometimes feel here and it's important for me

Here are first pictures I rendered.
The first one is BOTANIKA CHURCH which is greenhouse for tropical plants in my virtual project...I was create it like futuristic geodesic complex at first....but bdfd use this architecture in his Mars project so I try to change it and create some more classical design. Free artwork for this building are Gothic churches of course....You can see some first plants there. On the right side of a picture is an old oak /Quercus/ plant. And you can see tall Araucaria plants in the building. One is Araucaria heterophylla and the second is Araucaria angustifolia

Here is the second picture....there you can see different varieties of Delphinium elatum plant and on the left side you can see Linden /Tilia cordata/ tree and two Cupressus trees

LITTLE FISH BIG FISH SWIMMING IN THE WATER
the opposite side of lake with a little alluvial forest contains Willows, different Birch species, ferns and cane.... Hmm..green hills in the background looks better laughing laughing ...but it's background only....

and big Maple tree here.... this model was interesting for me because I had only the model without textures. So I had to find leaves and bark for rendering. So in my project it is Acer pseudoplatanus.... And look who's there under the tree.... Bdfd maybe...afraid of piranhas in the lake.... or waiting for a date?....hmmm...

And Other leafy tree here.... Well known model for a lot's of users... But the same case as previous.... It's a virtual old oak tree in my project.... and lady VeroniQ there????

And last but not the least virtual climbing bush. This is pure virtual model. Leaves of Robinia pseudoacacia made by me and really unknown red flowers.... It's really nice on virtual reality that you can create hybrids impossible to find in real nature.

Re: classic edition
Hello my friends. Here I come with the first part of some new images. I refresh an old project called KASTIEL I presented here on this thread very long time ago. It was the time when the renderer on sh3d was not in such a good shape like this time and also my experience with the application was very short. Now I refresh and remodeled this project and try to repeat the same views as previous or made some new with new renderer.
All these images I presented here were made by these settings:
GI:PATH
DB:1
Caustics:0
Shiness:silk
focus distance:500
focus radius:0,5
algorythm:IPR
Depth of field:ON
sky brightness:16
original size of pictures is 10000x5625 pixels /then resized to 2000x1125 pixels/
all these pictures were made by ASUS ROG with Intel core i7 6700HQ /4cores,8threads/ graphic card and in post production I tried to help with some small corrections in photo editor POLARR PRO application. I tried to find here some photorealism by using some leaks and fx effects in postproduction. I try to make it not so clear and detailed this way which may look more realistic /not sure/... There is not 2D background objects there. All plants are 3D.
At first let me show you an old view from this thread but with the new tree models and textures

The second picture is the view of the new building here in this garden I made in "pseudo art noveau" style

and here some other views of this project....

Thank you Mike. I understand your feeling. It was the same for me with an old Asus I had before. It's only sad for me that it's not possible to render pictures with GPU here. But I am sure there are some specialists here who will find the way how to create some GPU renderer. /I know it's not easy/
Now I come with the second part of the 'KASTIEL party' and it's the small view for the night session....

Hope you like some of that... And thanx for watching this thread. Wish you a lot of success and inspiration for your creations.

Re: classic edition
Hi guys... I am back with the new version of old project. Because I lost the older data of the classic edition project I decide to create new one I named Historic island. Here I came with the first series of pictures in very pseudogothic style.
I am not a good story writer...so sorry... but I can describe, what you can see on pictures.
The first picture is the view you can see from the boat when you are cruising to the coast of the island. You can see little harbor on the right and the central church standing up on the hill.

We are in the harbor now and I am watching our nice historic boat. If you feel it looks like Cristobal Colon's Pinta ..... you are right...it is Pinta biggrin

And now....stairs and stairs.....but the church is so close.

Thanx God.... I am here... the church looks monumental but is not so big. The height is only 23 meters /75,5ft/

So I wanna walk around the church and try to make some nice pictures. The first one is the monument with the statue of Madonna. The statue is more than 5 meters tall /16,4ft/

And here the external picture of presbytery....

The last picture here...you can see some details on facade and some details of the textures.... the length of the church is 30 meters /98ft/

The island were modeled by sh3d rendered by Thea render and some lightning effects were made by GIMP2 or PicsArt. The size of pictures is 1600x900px or 1000x1200px.
All my pictures you can find on my facebook profile page https://www.facebook.com/MartinSK.sh3dthea/ ...
Interior soon...

But it looks that the atmosphere is very dark. May be we should turn the lights on.

Thanx for watching.

So here is the result. I was inspired by @bdfd's comment about Bruce Wayne for some pictures and here it is.

It's the deep night here on the island.....no one....nowhere only stars...and the arcane castle over the sea....

Flying up to the central square and looking around. The gothic church and gothic palace...ideal place for the duke Dracula devilish

And the picture of the right flank of the palace shows a little chapel and chambers of the Majesty....

But it's morning now......The morning fog is the sign of the end for the dark night stories..

And first rays of the morning sun...

....turns the place on the romantic touristic center.

Re: classic edition
Hi @Emmanuel Puybaret....
Sure not.. That's not my design as I wrote before. I created some of the first buildings and the primary island in sh3d. And then I wanted to create the whole island. It's too many buildings to create all of them in sh3d. I downloaded the most of them from warehouse and thanks to sh3d I recreated or adapt some odf them for the project. I posted this picture here because this is the result of combination of sh3d, warehouse, thearender, and some final processes in gimp2...

Re: classic edition
I keep repeating myself, but what else can I do?
You keep producing masterly renderings. This is very impressive, Martin, indeed!

Re: classic edition
Hello my friends...
I read in some other threads that it might be problem for some people that I am posting here pictures which are not pure sh3d product. So OK... I will stop it. I made my projects by sh3d and I like it but I love to render by Thea.
Heh.... it looks that these two pictures are the last two I am posting here in sh3d gallery. A little bit sad but that's life.

So what to say in the end. I am very happy that I was a member of this big family. I met here a lot of friends @Emmanuel @Veronique or @bdfd.... I saw a lot of great pictures and projects.... But I understand that posting my pictures which were not rendered by sunflow is problem for some people here. So I will post it only on my small personal facebook funpage https://www.facebook.com/MartinSK.sh3dthea/

Thanks for watching and good bye
Martin

Re: classic edition
Thanks for these beautiful images.
As the webmaster of this forum, I can confirm you that it's absolutely not a problem to continue to post images rendered with other tools. To avoid any confusion about the capabilities of Sweet Home 3D and SunFlow, it's would be nice to say that you used another rendering engine when necessary... just like you did in the past.

Re: classic edition
Thank you @Emmanuel for you support.
But I think it's better not to irritate other users with Thea here. I am very thankful for sh3d because I am still working with this app. And you know...my first two years all of my renderings were made only by sunflow.... But as you know in other way... I still tried to experimented and combined sh3d with some other applications like Gimp,or lot of photo editors to find the best final product. And I am still on that way to find the best and not very expensive way for amateurs like we all are.
Maybe in the future I will use some of my sh3d&thea pictures here in some special thread....but as you can read in other threads...it's not the best time for my pictures here now.

Re: classic edition
Hi Martin!

I have a feeling that you are referring to a conversation between me and Ceciliabr. I can assure you that I am not the least irritated by your beautiful images, quite the opposite. I have shared my enthusiastic comments on this thread, as you are well aware of, and I will continue doing so on any future images you will post here.
Judging from re-reading the mentioned conversation, I must say I fail to detect any form of expressed irritation, just a description of personal preferences. I suggest you read it again.

I have downloaded a trial version of Thea, and I have already gotten some nice results, but it's to early to present anything yet.

All my best,

Xiste
