Newest project Hiya This project is based loosley on a friends property, i have however changed it to be lower level with only 4 10" steps between habitable areas and a full flight down to the garage, it has 5 beds (grey), 4 bathrooms (brown), kitchen/breakfast room, WC and a lounge /diner. See what you think of it HERE, dont worry about the naughty piece of lawn at the foot of the steps, i cut it. Front view taken at 9AM ![]() Rear view taken at 5PM ![]() Thx Aeowyn for the "strip" window idea. I do like the wall coloring even though i haven't applied any color or texture to them yet. Mike |

Re: Newest project Great ! More land would have to put a gate and can walk around your house ( ~4 m in front of)... What do you think about this ? ---------------------------------------- Evil progresses when good people do nothing! --- SH3D 7.1 and nothing else - W11 64b in 4K |

Re: Newest project I meant a portal for the garage with a wall advanced a few meters would make the whole tour of the house. A picture is better that few words... The red arrow shows the progress of the field. The yellow arrows show that one can make a full turn... ---------------------------------------- Evil progresses when good people do nothing! --- SH3D 7.1 and nothing else - W11 64b in 4K |

Re: Newest project Hiya This design has left me with a kitchen/breakfast room that is very limited on windows, this is it with no ceiliing or roof - ![]() After sitting in a hotel room all week thinking about getting sufficient, even lighting, these are the 2 ideas i came up with - Each source is sat inside 4 traiangles, there are 21 of them at 20%, i imported the "lamp" as a window and the positioned them in a wall. ![]() Here are the same sources, at 15%, and frame workwork but this time the sources are behind large opaque panels, walls, and have the the shiney triangles around each group of 7, the idea was to throw as much light down as possible - ![]() Since creating these images i have managed to position 4 windows along the wall, above the door, but they will admit very little light. Any toughts on improving this would be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance. MIke |

Re: Newest project Nice. Getting the lights right really is an art. I only wish SH3D would let you adjust the light colour (light temperature) without changing model / light-source. ok |

Re: Newest project @okh you just mentioned at the bar, that you made the changes to the lamp in the mtl, is it possible to do the same with the light colour/ temp? |

Re: Newest project Sort of, you probably need to use a catalogue and the FurnitureLibraryEditor (.obj does not support light-sources). But in the library file (PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties) you can set the colour of the light-source (very simplified approach described on page 10 of the the SVG guide). Possibly, you can also set a semi-transparent lamp-shade in the .mtl file to the correct colour, but I am still struggling with getting the right effect when light shines through. ok |

Re: Newest project Mike.....really great and very inspiring for me. That wall!!! I love combination of stone tile squares candles and MIRRORS!!! And that slightly "erotic" feeling of that pictures is amazing. I prefer the first version of the floor texture. For me it looks more luxury but have not problem with that parquets too. If I can say I would love the combination of the second version of wall texture and the first version of floor texture. That would be my style if I was your customer. ![]() |

Re: Newest project @ Martin, i too am still undecided about the floor, the wall tiling i changed purely for the size of the tiles,i will probably change the combinations later today as i have free time (tonsilitus )@ bdfd, ty, i was pleased with the lights and reflections, lighting is all candles in these images, there are spot lights above the shower and a ceiling light, central, they are set at just 10% for these images. @ VeroniQ thank you |

Re: Newest project hiya just adding 2 images of the bathroom, when its not in use. A few textures and sizes have been altered and to get one of the images i had to position the camera in the shower cubicle, so the screen is hidden. ![]() and ![]() |

Re: Newest project Moved onto the adjoining bedroom, the room contains 2 "daylight" light sources, 3' dia @ 15%, to give some natural appearing lightness to the room, plus the 2 bedside lamps, light from the window is enhanced with another daylight source @ 70%. I did need to remove the wall and door for this 1st image and ![]() Mike |

Re: Newest project A revision to the house layout. I decided to change 1 on the bedrooms to an office and its bathroom to a utility room as it was positioned at the rear of the kitchen, for an entrance from the kitchen i used an arch and 4 9" steps. The semi circular dining room i was not happy with, so it is now rectangular and houses stairs to a 1st floor bedroom with ensuite and a balcony. ![]() Mike |
