Installing paid version over free versionI'm running the free version of SH3D (5.2a) on my MacBook Pro (El Capitan — OS X 10.11.6) and like it so much I want to get the paid version from the Apple App Store. Do I need to be aware of anything when I install the paid version? Do I need to uninstall the free version first or can I just install right over it? I'm assuming any designs I've done will be picked up automatically. Thanks! (btw, great program!) |

Re: Installing paid version over free version All the designs in your .sh3d files will work with the paid version as they would on any computer where Sweet Home 3D is installed. You don't need to uninstall anything but imported 3D models and textures won't appear in the catalogs of the paid version unless you copy preferences at the right place. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
