Does anybody use SH3D for electrical planning? I'm wondering if some users use SH3D for there electrical planning. Or are there other/better tools out there? Would be great if we could share some experience here. Thanks in advance. Thomas |

Re: Does anybody use SH3D for electrical planning? received your mail bdfd depends on witch drawing u mean Thomas_H ( 3d electro junction boxes ) Free to download for every one plumbing Electrical installation material the picture shows random placed junction boxes or schematic drawing for the schematic drawing i used polylines and for the symbols i grated round and triangular shapes (place walls in the preferd shape double click in the center and u grated a room put a picture or symbol on the room flore "remove walls" now export them to OBJ format and import them as furniture) its a lot of work but it works if u want to do it simpler u can use Microsoft Visio (it has all the schematic symbols u need for every kind of 2d drawing ) it comes with most newly installed pc.s that have Microsoft Office i hope it helped a bit ---------------------------------------- To Draw or not to Draw ...... Re: Does anybody use SH3D for electrical planning? Hi FDpaffie, thank you very much I will give it a try. At my office laptop I have MS Visio but MS Visio imports my existing DXF File with different layers to one layer. Thats why I can't use it because there are all floors in one file. In SH3D I rebuild our house from scratch. |

Re: Does anybody use SH3D for electrical planning? Thanks for the hint. I think the big advantage is to have everthing in one program. |
