Re: Connecting 2 different levels of ceiling with right angle board. Many thanks for reading my post. My house have a lower plaster ceiling (about 2900mm from the floor) at the kitchen area and ceiling at the rest of the house is higher (3100mm from the floor). When i built my wall in sweethome3d utility, i spec the kitchen wall at 2900mm height and the rest of the house wall at 3100mm height. When i turn on the ceiling i notice the ceiling become uneven in the area where the wall are of different height. How do i solve this problem? |

Re: Connecting 2 different levels of ceiling with right angle board. Hi FDpaffie, I just post a picture in the facebook link you provided. Here are the picture showing 2 wall with different height. How can i make the ceiling flat on the high wall while the ceiling will turn 90 degree angle as it meet the lower wall. |

Re: Connecting 2 different levels of ceiling with right angle board. There are 3 ways to solve that .one is what bdfd was telling Second one is make one wall a slopingwall ,but that gives you a celing high at one end and lower at the other end Third option is greate a room in a room the kitchen smaller and lower.. Ps wat i mend was put a picteure on this forum. But it ok ---------------------------------------- To Draw or not to Draw ...... Thats nolonger a question .. We draw |

Re: Connecting 2 different levels of ceiling with right angle board. If I'm right, follow this : Create a box with : Elevation = 2.9 m Width = L + 0.02 m Depth = l + 0.02 m Height = 3100 - 2900 => e = 0.20 m Please let us know. ![]() ---------------------------------------- Evil progresses when good people do nothing! --- SH3D 7.1 and nothing else - W11 64b in 4K |

Re: Connecting 2 different levels of ceiling with right angle board. Hi jkhoo Is this is the sort of thing you are after ![]() If it is then you can download the Stepped celing sh3d file from here . Measurements can be made to suit your project, check the room properties to see how it can be used. Hope this helps Mike |
