SH3D Can't Read Downloaded 3DS Files
I downloaded some 3DS models from some of the websites suggested by SH3D, and my SH3D is telling me that it can't read the 3DS model, and that I need to select another model. What exactly am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

This is a link to the zipped models that I downloaded, for reference.

Again, any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: SH3D Can't Read Downloaded 3DS Files
I download Your archive, unzipped and I import individually 3DS models.
All work fine (v5.4 under linux).
SH3D is able to import most of 3DS file with few exeptions but not in this case.
So, what OS, SH3D version?
Is a installed version or online?

Re: SH3D Can't Read Downloaded 3DS Files
I am running "Sweet Home 3D ® Version 5.4.1 Mac App Store Java version 1.8.0_121 / 64 bit / 3 GB max", I re-zipped all of them individually, and some of them imported.

Re: SH3D Can't Read Downloaded 3DS Files
Rezipping them individually was the right thing to do.
In the Mac App Store version, it would be nice to be able to directly import a 3DS file when it doesn't have any texture, but as soon as it would require some, that version would be unable to load them leading to a error message that might be more confusing than helpful (very often, the texture images are simply missing, but the model is still usable).

So from now on I guess I will keep the 3DS files zipped. Thank you for your help! Aspects of this program is so confusing to me. *frustrated*
