Newbe 1st post - Already RTFM. Problems with "pan" navagation Enjoying my first steps in design with this software.. Read the manual, saw details on use of W,A,S,D,arrow keys, shift. 'BUT', what I find most difficult is "panning" left to right, and elevating, & delevating. In other 3d editors, shift is elevate, and "Z" delevate. Panning is normally A & D. Am I missing something ? The only way i can move in these axis, is by slow & awkward zooming and unzooming . Please advise. this is so frustrating. Thanks. |

Re: Newbe 1st post - Already RTFM. Problems with "pan" navagation In other 3d editors [...] There's no absolute rule about key management and it depends on software. Please read the help about editing the 3D view where keys used for navigation in the 3D view are explained.---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Newbe 1st post - Already RTFM. Problems with "pan" navagation From what I understand you are looking for; In Virtual Visitor mode, Alt+Left & Alt+Right give you sidestep movement Home & End give you viewpoint elevation control |
