Textures of existing sh3d file, how to copy Hello, I used many my own textures [created images] in sh3d files, imported and used directly on some models. I removed these source images, but sh3d files are okay, all imported textures still showing/working on models. Question - I will soon not have my current PC. So is it okay to just install SH3D on new PC and copy mys sh3d files, /OR/ is it needed to copy also some folder with furnitures and textures? Want to make sure I will not loose my work, so sh3d files will show all furniture and textures I used. Thanks a lot |

Re: Textures of existing sh3d file, how to copy A SH3D file contains all the data it needs to be correctly displayed, i.e. copies of images and 3D models it uses. This allows to transfer SH3D files and avoids data loss in case you change your catalogs. If you still want to copy 3D models and textures imported in catalogs from a computer to another one, please read this thread. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
