Create slab or room with angled edges Trying to create a slab or room with angles. Can create with polyline, but I don't see a feature to convert to room. Would like the area to be calculated. Tried creating a room, but can't figure out how to have an angled wall or edge. Is this possible? Thanks! Great product so far! |

Re: Create slab or room with angled edges Polylines are only used to annotate the plan and have no effect in the 3D view. You should rather draw rooms but walls around a room are always vertical. As a workaround, you may use thin boxes and rotate them horizontally to create such walls but you may find this too tedious if all the walls must be handled this way. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Create slab or room with angled edges Thanks for the reply. I should have been more clear. I only want vertical walls, but want walls which meet at other than 90 degrees. For instance one wall going North/South on plan, then another wall taking off from that wall at 30 degrees. Can this be done with the Create Rooms feature? Thanks! |

Re: Create slab or room with angled edges What about simply trying to draw a room and see what is possible or not?
