Re: CITY LIVING – a dream project. Bring warm clothes. -9°C this morning. And if you drive, be careful. Drivers not yet familiar with electric car torque on icy roads. Minus 15° this morning on Slemdal. I had to buy a new scarf. I haven’t been this cold in four years. We don’t drive. Taxis are plentiful in Oslo, even more plentiful than I remember. Merry Christmas! Re: CITY LIVING – a dream project. Minus 15°... Yes, but fireplace ablaze and kitchen running at full capacity. Vinkelgården... Lambda, National Museum, Skøyen, Fornebu; long list of areas changing radically. At the risk of sounding grumpy: not always for the better, a coherent plan is not obvious. At least not to me. Narrow streets and high buildings tend not to work too well with sun now max 6° over the horizon. God jul. ok |

Re: CITY LIVING – a dream project. @okh Lambda is nice. The National Museum is... well, at least non of them are ruining something that used to be a nice place, like the new DNB on Majorstuen is. Fornebu used to be an airport. Now it’s a city. When the sea level rises, it will be a lake. Anyway, the temperature is more agreable now. Gledelig jul Cecilia |
