How to edit and compile Hi, I can see that I can download the sourcecode for SH3D. What program/tool do I use to edit the code, and to compile it? Best regards Søren |

Re: How to edit and compile As I don't know your programming level, it's difficult to know how much details are necessary for you to start. The basics are explained in the README.TXT file included in the source code of each version, and the Plug-in developer's guide can give you some additional useful information. If you want to retrieve the latest source code of Sweet Home 3D, you may use the SVN command: svn checkout https://svn.code.sf.net/p/sweethome3d/code/trunk/SweetHome3D SweetHome3DPlease note that if I don't mind to give some help on compiling and editing Sweet Home 3D source code, I hope you'll understand that you shouldn't expect from me to help you learning Java, Ant, Eclipse and other tools required to run Sweet Home 3D. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: How to edit and compile Hi Emmanuel, I have basic Visual Basic knowledge. But I do realize it's up hill learning Java. |
