Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Coming up with a property that would have the pool and garage that i shared here always meant that the design would be kinda grand/ish. So here are a few images of the project so far. Front ![]() Rear Several of the entrance ![]() The Pool showers, wall and doors removed for the render. And the kitchen....so far And a Link to view it. Looking forward to any comments. Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Thank you nemetonia, the hand rails are cylinders and spheres, the treads are currently box's, I may change them to rooms to give a glass appearance à nd the riser/stringer's are rooms. Took a while to make them but I am pleased with the result.. Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... A few more images and the projects layout :- The Games room first. I couldn't find a reasonable baize for the pool table so i ended up trying grass, reduced to 5% of its original size, seems ok to me. A roof by Kerwin and 1 of Enkonyito's lamps are used over the pool table. A dozen walls, 3 rooms and 4 cylinders were used to make the enclosure for the dart board. The lamp illuminating the dart board is from the library, exported turned and imported, with a second original lamp, (body invisible) positioned to supply the light. ![]() Lounge /Diner I am posted these images whilst i have already decided to change the wall texture (yuk) And replace the dining table and chairs (poor mapping). ![]() The projects has basically 3 floor plus a sunken kitchen floor, but i have used 7 levels in total to create them. From the bottom up :- Games room, cinema and Gym are all below ground and therefore windowless, the floor of the indoor pool is also visible. ![]() The turntables in the garage. ![]() The 2 pools. ![]() The kitchen and the as yet unseen new indoor water feature. ![]() Ground floor has a breakfast area, a powder room and WC, Lounge/ diner, Utility room, main entrance and outside seating. ![]() Ist Floor comprises 5 bedrooms all with ensuite, most with walk in closets, 2 linen closets and a large balcony. ![]() Which just leaves the roofs. On this project i used all walls the create both roofs and ceilings. .Hope you like them. Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Thank you VeroniQ. Trying to think like a lottery winner, not easy since i am, unfortunately, not one. I have made a couple of small changes since posting the last image, corrected an area where the tiling was wrong, added 2 more towels with color and put a quadrant edging around the tiling, here is the final image. The sinks, bath taps and shower come from sketchup warehouse but everything else is from the sweethome library, or is walls, boxes and floors. ![]() All comments are welcome Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Hi, here are a few images of a shared bathroom that i have just completed. ![]() ![]() Ignore the silly plant pot, strange really that it should appear to have mapping issues when the other one is a copy of it. Hope you like them. Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... MMMMM, i take that to mean that you feel there should be cubicles for the toilets. To a degree i agree, but, instead, i removed 1 access door replaced a toilet with a bidet, and am now creating a Bachelor pad come loft, 2.5 floors and largely modern decor, thx for the comment Hans, i appreciate the additional work. ![]() |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... So here are a few images of the building i have constructed around the bathroom. Bedroom I do plan to position a glass/screened partition between the sleeping area and what may be another sleeping area or an office. ![]() Downstairs image, unlit with enhanced external brightness on. ![]() Stairs and pillar have since been modified. Well pleased with the way the fire has worked out. ![]() View down showing the 2 mezzanine floors. Night time view with 2 large light sources outside. ![]() And a screen shot of colors. ![]() Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Still undecided whether to use the lower mezzanine as a sleeping area or office space so here are the last 2 of the other areas. From the dining area, i decided to replace the upright lamp by the chais longue with a wall light. And from the office/sleeping area of the overhead lighting. ![]() Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Last Images for this project are of the office, since i could not decide to have either an office or a spare sleeping area, i went with an idea to combine the 2. ![]() And when the bed is not needed :- ![]() Mike |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... And when the bed is not needed :- Hi Mike, Mike Excellent mansion ! Lounges and kitchen are superb. But with the bed into the wall, it seems that the thickness of it is equal to 2 meters ? . ---------------------------------------- Evil progresses when good people do nothing! --- SH3D 7.1 and nothing else - W11 64b in 4K |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... Really sophisticated, indeed! By the way, I have heard recently the true story of a woman who sat on the remote control of her retractable bed... and staid there 24 hours until someone went to visit her. I know why I have been always dubious about this kind of beds. |

Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... ... install a button on the inside of the storage area, and you can escape at any time if you are accidentally arrested... Re: Combining the linked pool and the double garage...... @ VeroniQ. thx again for the comment, i enjoyed this project, as for the woman who got stuck, sounds like an excuse to avoid going to work. @ UbuntuBirdy also somewhere to hide if you want to avoid being arrested. @ bdfd The floor the bed is going under is at an elevation of 3.3m, and with the bed fully in, it is above the downstairs loo, the door to it, whilst not pictured itself, can be seen in the view from the dining area. Thank you for the comments. Mike |
