Re: arch shape roofings
I suggest you can build your arch with walls in a new file, then import the arch as an objet with "Export to OBJ format" menu item. Take care to import only the walls.

Re: arch shape roofings
How do you bend or arch a floor ? ... How do you create a arch shape like a small bridge ?

Re: arch shape roofings
You can’t bend a floor. And without a picture, it will be difficult to help you more, as alrealdy suggested.

Re: arch shape roofings
Why a wall can not be turn east to west in SH3D ???

Posted by Billmart at Nov 21, 2020, 5:09:09 AM
Re: arch shape roofings
Actually, the question should be ... why a wall can not be turned from horizontal to vertical ?

Posted by Billmart at Nov 21, 2020, 5:13:34 AM
Re: arch shape roofings
There's no way to turn a wall from vertical to horizontal in SH3d .... the same as there's no way to bend a wall nor a roof to build a arch surface.
If you know a better way to achieve such task, let us know since I'm not the only one asking that question.

Re: arch shape roofings
Billmart, walls are vertical and can’t be leaned in Sweet Home 3D.
By the way, please stop polluting other threads with similar questions. That won’t make appear this feature.

Re: arch shape roofings
Puybaret,
Obviously you got upset for insisting with my question, is just that something so simple as a curve surface/wall in a vertical way cannot be created in SH3D and that is not my fault.
Stop calling my postings "polluting" ... other wise you would have to call "polluting" many participations in this forum which by the way you should review the way this blog is organized.
Its not nice to call "polluting" a question as a form of support to someone who is looking for answers through the blog.
I promise I will try not to bother you any more with more questions on any issue.

@Billmart
1.
a curve surface/wall in a vertical way cannot be created in SH3D

YES, IT CAN!!
BUT You are tooo lazy!
-to read, to try ,to understand
-to follow the link from second post
-to learn how to share a picture in this forum (as was suggested)
2.
a form of support to someone who is looking for answers through the blog

YES, this forum help a lot of people (including me)
BUT the majority have read some basic instructions about how to do different things.
I use SH3D for more than 10 years and I steel discover clever functions to use in my projects BUT with a lot of work.
WORK=learn, try, fail, learn more, try again and maybe succeed.
3. Read twice my signature, could be useful.
For me help me to determine the relations between me and computer.
About 1.
-make a curved wall
-export as object
-import it back BUT in desire position.
That's mean is possible as many other things.

Like I've already say in other post,
after a wile You will be the one who will offer help to others like you
