Hyperlink Photographs into drawing I am a forensic police officer using the program to document crime scenes. I would like to be ale to hyperlink actual photographs from the crime scene into the drawing for court purposes. My department is also wondering if there is a program up for purchase that will link into a crime program or something specialized for police agencies. Thank you |

Re: Hyperlink Photographs into drawing Hyperlinking from models is supported by SH3D, even if it is not much used. However, adding the hyperlink to a model is not part of the interface but requires editing a library (model information field) - and the same hyperlink is applied to all instances of the same model. It can also be done by editing Home.xml within the SH3D file. Even for other than forensic purposes this is useful, but I suspect too complicated for everyday use. One possibility, without knowing how much development that would imply, would be to add basic HTML support to the text comments (and/or evidence markers?) - and some interface to add the links easily. A feature I for one would welcome. ok |
