Scanning my own furniture Many models are available, but it would be more realistic if I can use my own furniture and equipment in the plans. Is it possible to scan and import into SH using a laser-scanner or photogrammetry? Has anybody done it, please tips and advice. |

Scanning my own furniture Yes, it is possible. Trust me, I’ve been using this handheld laser scanner that I purchased online for scanning my furniture and car parts. So far, it’s quite reliable and fast to process. But I’ve been scanning small to medium objects, so I suggest you go for a bigger version in case you are looking to use it for much bigger objects. I can recommend a Creaform Go Scan if you want a bigger one. ---------------------------------------- My name is Bryony Mcneill, 25. I’m an engineering student and an OJT in a company.
